I believe in healing through a supportive relationship where clients can gain understanding into themselves as well as learn strategies to help them move forward. I see myself as a partner and guide in helping clients improve their lives and overcome challenges. I am authentic, warm and accepting and feel honored to be invited into the lives of my clients. I employ a variety of tools in working with my clients and tailor sessions to the client’s needs, personality and goals. Some techniques I use regularly include are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness techniques, Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused Therapy.
I have worked in mental health for over 10 years, with clients ranging from ages 4 through 80+, coming alongside people through the lifespan and its various challenges. My experience has included work with a wide range of clients on concerns including anxiety, depression, family and relationship challenges, trauma, ADHD and others. While I see a wide variety of people, I especially enjoy working with anxiety and life transitions.
