If you’ve reached the website, you’re already ahead of the curve! You’ve decided some things require additional focus, and that you’re motivated to create change in your life. Fortunately, everything changes. You’ve already begun to mix things up by taking the first and most important step. Let’s move onto the second.
If we were ever in a counseling session together, I would regard you as the expert of your reality, what’s happening in your life, and how it’s affecting you. We’ll discuss areas in which you’d like to facilitate change, and together, devise a plan on how to tackle it.
I’m trained in a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Narrative Therapy. I’ll assist in developing mindfulness and organize thoughts through visual timelines, lists, diagrams, and artistic representations, etc. Clients of mine regard me as comfortable, compassionate, creative, and curious.
I’m a graduate of St. John’s University and obtained my master’s degree from Boston University School of Social Work. I have experience working in outpatient settings serving clients of diverse backgrounds. Clients I’ve seen have experienced trauma, addiction, relationship conflict, anxiety, and depression.
I work with individuals high-school age and older.
